Greg Boothe - Partner
Greg was born in Rupert Idaho, and started singing when he was three years old. He took piano lessons for eight years and bass fiddle lessons for six years. His family performed together at all kinds of activities. He started playing the guitar at age 14, being heavily influenced by his favorite musicians: the Beatles, James Taylor, and the Eagles. He continued to play guitar and bass through high school and then in college at Weber State University.
At the age of sixteen, Greg started to write songs - - mostly for friends and relatives or special family occasions. His first major success in writing came in 1982 when he won the "Salt Lake City Song Contest". That was a great experience, as he took first place among over 200 entrants. The song was also professionally recorded, which began his interest in professional recording and production.
Throughout the years Greg has performed in many bands. His first CD "A New World To Come" was released in 1997. Much of the music on this recording is based on experiences that happened to him in childhood and later in his life. His second release "Noble Warriors", which contains inspirational themed music, came out December of 2004.
Greg lives in Ephraim, UT, where he is an instructor and choir director at the LDS Institute of Religion, and an adjunct guitar instructor at Snow College. He and his wife Fara have three children and three grandchildren.
